Story-Powered Language Learning

Story telling is an effective way to help improve literacy and language learning. A story is a great tool to engage young readers and The Fabulous Lost and Found and the Little Dutch mouse is inspired by the latest research into how children best acquire language.

Best of all this is a bilingual story book that is fun to read together with your child. And language learning is of course a lot easier if you are having fun whilst you are doing it!

It’s language learning without your child feeling like they are doing homework. It’s clever and unique.

The Story

“In the middle of the big city is a tiny yellow building. If anyone loses anything, this is where it ends up.  It’s called the Lost and Found…”

And it is into this building that a little mouse walks. A mouse that only speaks Dutch. Mr and Mrs Frog, the couple who look after the lost and found shop, do not speak Dutch.

A guessing game begins. What is mouse looking for?
